The Teresia and Rafael Lönnström Home Museum will come under renovation in spring 2024. Extensive works on the exterior will include a new roof and cladding as well as refurbishment of windows and external doors.

The museum will begin preparations to protect its collections even before the renovation commences. The current estimate is that the museum can reopen at the beginning of 2025.

The building completed in 1942 was constructed as the home of Teresia and Rafael Lönnström. It opened as a museum in 1988.

The museum’s office and other operations will be moved to temporary premises for the duration of the renovation. The location will be announced at a later date.
