Teresia and Rafael Lönnström's home museum

The Lönnströms were an industrial couple who built their home on the seashore in 1942. When Director Rafael Lönnström died the following year, his wife Teresia Lönnström took up the reins of the Lönnström Group. The family also included Teresia’s niece, Else Bech. Teresia and Else were fond of entertaining, and many unforgettable parties were celebrated under the candelabras. In the summer, the French doors of the banquet hall were opened to the large garden.

In her will, Teresia Lönnström asked that her home remain intact as a museum. All objects and artworks in the Home Museum sit where Teresia originally placed them.
